Kenyang

In 2003 and 2004, Jessica participated in the Kenyang Bible translation project in Cameroon under the auspices of the Cameroon Association for Bible Translation and Literacy (CABTAL). Kenyang is a language spoken by around 65,000 people in and around the city of Mamfe. The Kenyang New Testament was dedicated in December 2010.

Mono

In 1993, Ken began his involvement in the Mono Bible translation project, along with two other members of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Mono is a language spoken by about 65,000 people in the northwestern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In 2005, a team of well-educated mother tongue Mono speakers took over responsibility for the project. The Mono New Testament was dedicated in 2021.

  1. Hello Mrs. Olson,

May the almighty God bless you all abundantly, for leaving your comfort zones to go to remote areas in order to make the Bible available to the indigenes.

I wanted to find out if you could direct me to where I can purchase Kenyang NT Bible if they are now available. I live in Allen Texas.

    Thanks, and remain blessed.

  2. Christiana – The Kenyang New Testament is currently being printed. They’ve scheduled a dedication for the book in December, so it should be available then! We’ll keep you posted. – Ken & Jess
